This is another way to enjoy the outdoors. It can even be done from a porch or through a window if you’re plagued with allergies or can’t tolerate the temperatures or elements. Some of the most beautiful pictures I’ve seen are close-ups of birds in their natural habitat that photographers capture. It is of course more fun if you know what you’re looking at. As I have matured, I find antique shopping intriguing for two reasons. One, you truly never know what you’ll find. Two, it is interesting to see items that are from another era. Some of our most fun family memories are at the park with a picnic, stories, and reminiscing.
14. Read to a Student/Mentoring
This is a great way to stay involved in your community. Spend some time at a local school. Or even take it a step further and join in with others who mentor and motivate children. Most areas have numerous clubs or groups you can be a part of. There are also virtual groups. However, participating in person promotes much better socialization. 31. Shopping
We mentioned shopping in a previous category but more as a leisurely type of activity. If you are an avid shopper, you probably understand that it is an enjoyable socializing event. This too allows a completely different perspective but is even more profound than those events in the air. Not everyone gets the chance to view the depths of a lake or the ocean. Always take a buddy, but you can scuba dive with a group of people that share this passion also.
